— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE Tall and broad, solidly built with the kind of muscle earned through practical use. Dark hair, eyes and mood, strong nose and oddly soft lips. Battle-scarred, most visibly with a diagonal slice wound cutting from just above his brow, through his cheek to shoulder. A fine set of tits. A body designed to outlast attack and a face that resents having to. Inexplicably luxurious mane that suggests a live-in team of haircare professionals.

CLOTHING Black. Lots of it. Favours silhouettes that emphasise his solidly-built frame but allow for a wide range of movement. Enjoys leather. Fabrics are thick and drape-weighted. The sigil of the Tower tends to be woven in border patterns of black-on-black embroidery rather than prominently placed.

DEMEANOR Intense. Something about his stance and the way he moves gives the impression he's even bigger than his already over-large body. Constantly Too Much. Carries a bad mood so heavily it can feel physically tangible. An aura of directionless menace and destructive capability that doesn't seem to dissipate no matter what he's doing. Eats his pancakes like they did him wrong. Empties the entire tube of toothpaste out in one vicious squeeze. Stares.

AURAL His voice is low and unexpectedly smooth until it very much isn't. Tone and cadence can range from artificially flat to violently animated depending on his mood. Rich, self-satisfied murmurs, bluntly explosive bellowing and irritated hisses. Can sing but won't.

OLFACTORY Leather, burning embers, a deep amber musk. Bergamot and wood smoke. Sandalwood. Cedar and heated stone. If he's fresh from the baths, a luxuriant mix of rich, warm spices from his extensive haircare routine.

METAPHYSICAL A superdense object against the background radiation, turbulent and threatening. Bleeds intense emotion into his immediate environment. Doesn't appear to fit into the boundaries of his physical form. An immense amount of willpower holding together a writhing tangle of competing desires. A dam holding back the weight and potential of a wide, powerful river. Constant, unending struggle.

— SKILLS —

FORCE-SENSITIVE Kylo is sensitive to the Force, a name given to an underlying energy field that is generated by and connected to all living beings, binding together everything that exists. Through his awareness of his existence as a part of this Force, Kylo is able to perceive things that would otherwise be unavailable to his physical senses. On a grand scale, this can allow him to perceive elements of important events without being present to witness them. On a much more immediate level, he is able to react to things that have yet to happen, giving the appearance of impossibly fast bullet-time reflexes. He is also capable of sensing particularly strong emotions or catching glimpses of thoughts and intentions, particularly if they’re focused in his direction. Meditating may, but usually doesn’t, grant Kylo a Force vision. These are most commonly ominous, unsettling and largely useless prophetic insights that make no sense until after the event.

TELEPATHY In addition to his more passive senses, Kylo possesses the ability to force himself into the minds of others. He is able to use this power to pass messages, implant suggestions or render someone unconscious as well as to actively retrieve thoughts, feelings, secrets and memories. If you would like to have Kylo use these powers with your character, please give me permission!

TELEKINESIS Kylo can use the Force to exert control over the physical world. He's capable of using this ability on living beings and inanimate objects as well as packets of energy, restraining a laser bolt in mid-air with relative ease. While he's also capable of mind-control, Kylo generally prefers to physically freeze sentient beings in place, drag them towards himself or throw them away. Further examples of this ability would include choking someone by telekinetically applying pressure to their throat.

ATHLETICISM Using his connection to the Force, Kylo can perform feats of strength and stamina beyond the natural limits of his body. He can jump higher, run faster, hit harder and last longer. He is able to continue fighting even when severely injured, drawing further strength from the pain of his injuries.

FIGHTING A skilled swordsman and fighter, Kylo is well trained and practiced in combat, comfortable and confident both in duels and open skirmishes against multiple opponents and opposing armies.

PILOTING Kylo is an excellent pilot, demonstrating exceptional ability for navigation, tight maneuvers and deadly accuracy behind the controls of a starfighter. Not that it seems likely he'll be flying for a while.

ENGINEERING Kylo built his own modified lightsaber, borrowing techniques from ancient design to overcome the challenges of working with an overpowered kyber crystal. He was personally involved in the refinement of his own prototype starfighter, and shows aptitude for adapting and integrating incompatible systems of technology.

GENERAL NERDERY Studies, hard. Kylo keeps extensive notes of everything he's learned since arrival, written out in his native Galactic Standard. Pages and pages of aurebesh characters laid out in surprisingly neat calligraphic hand on fine parchment. Do not touch his calligraphy set. Has previous experience researching ancient texts to locate and retrieve artifacts as well as interpreting prophecies and solving puzzles.

• Won a sword in a duel. Open to teaching swordsmanship, and willing to spar.
• Might be a prince of some sort. Inspiration of Jaskier's epic-in-progress The Lonely Mountain King.
• Claims to have travelled to hundreds of other planets.

• Or maybe one or more of the four Abraxan mages who follow him around?

• Out in the castle yard training every morning.
• Extremely predictable and punctual at mealtimes, eats quickly, indeterminately and ravenously, never leaves scraps.
• Studying magic in a room in the castle put aside for the purpose, with his taskforce of Abraxan-born mages close by if not immediately on hand.
• Often in the castle baths taking a very long luxurious soak.

• A finely-crafted steel sword.
• A magical, dreamthing sword with a fiery blade that retreats impossibly into the hilt when not in use.
