POWERS & PERMISSIONS
Kylo's force-sensitivity allows him access to abilities beyond those of his physical body. Among other things, he has the pretty dicey ability to read minds. This can occur with or without active intention, and depending on his level of focus in the moment, the kind of information he can receive ranges from very vague impressions all the way to exact moment-for-moment recall of another's memories:
Additionally, please let me know if your character is immune to telepathy or has psychic abilities of their own— it's very possible to feel Kylo 'looking', and I'm always up for a psychic conversation!
CHARACTER: (Your character's name pls!)
PASSIVE AWARENESS: (What can Kylo sense about your character? Basically, any descriptive information you want to give me that could cause Kylo to take a particular interest, eg. Anne, while cheery and bright, is grieving the death of a loved one; Bob is secretly an ancient wellspring of evil energy wearing a human skin; Carol is seriously considering punching Kylo in the face.)
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: (What does Kylo find if he looks at your character's thoughts and feelings? You can give me specifics here or simply give me permission to have Kylo read thoughts/feelings described in the non-dialogue parts of your tags, eg. "I'd be delighted!" Dan said, secretly dreading the prospect of attending Kylo's birthday party; [Edwin chews his lip thinking about the knife he's holding behind his back]; If Kylo looks at her thoughts he will be able to tell that Fiona is consumed by a violent hatred of licorice and is dedicated to its eradication.)
ANYTHING ELSE: (Any additional notes. Also any specific requests or hoped-for outcomes, let me know if there's anything else you'd like to do with Kylo's abilities!)
- 1. Passive, psychic awareness of others.
- This is like seeing, rather than looking. Without any effort or deliberate choice on his part, Kylo is capable of picking up on strong thoughts, feelings and intentions, particularly if those thoughts are about him, or aimed in his direction. He may also be able to sense if someone is attempting to conceal something, and can detect movements of magical power flowing through/around/saturating an individual (though it's unlikely he'll be able to recognise which specific abilities anyone has). These are brief glimpses of insight, often acting as hooks that catch his attention.
- 2. Active, telepathic examination of the thoughts and feelings of others.
- This can be compared to looking, rather than simply catching sight of something. With focus, Kylo is able to read immediate, surface-level thoughts and feelings of unguarded individuals.
- 3. Forceful intrusion into the minds of others.
- This level of focus is more like opening something up to look inside. Kylo can force his way into the minds of other sentient beings and probe their memories to retrieve their secrets. If a subject resists, this can be an extremely painful experience.
I don't tend to make use of this ability unless it's relevant for a plot and another player has specifically requested it for obvious reasons! If you'd like to play out a trippy Force interrogation, it's probably best to hit me up on plurk -starktech or on discord - cryloren#2195, where we can talk things through together. Thanks!
Additionally, please let me know if your character is immune to telepathy or has psychic abilities of their own— it's very possible to feel Kylo 'looking', and I'm always up for a psychic conversation!

PASSIVE AWARENESS: He's old, he's lived through time in a weird, not exactly linear fashion, he carries a lot of pain in him (both physical and emotional). He keeps a lot of his thought process internal, out of training and desire not to expose himself or be too vulnerable. He has a singular drive focused on a tower; that's always in the back of his mind.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: If Roland is in a hostile situation or senses someone trying to get into his head and thoughts it'll take effort to get in, he has decent mental defences. In casual situations he's less guarded.
ANYTHING ELSE: nope!

PASSIVE AWARENESS: Jon is the lens through which an Entity of the Fear of Being Known can see into the world and feed from it. He's also the door through which that entity (and ambiguously more) may someday breach the world. He is, in the words of his canon "not human enough to die."
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Any active intrusion will be met by Something Looking Back, that something being an entity made of all the fear of the history of humanity. Nothing stopping him from reading Jon's mind, since the Eye would just love that.
ANYTHING ELSE: Digging too deep could easily result in a permanent connection to the Eye, if that's OOCly fun.

PASSIVE AWARENESS:
1) Kylo may be able to gather quicker than most that despite his outward demeanour, Geralt is actually highly observant and is pretty much Always Thinking, whether that's piecing information together or musing over whatever moral conflict has arisen. The bluntness and brevity of his words is very much a choice, not an inability to express himself more delicately. Deep down, he's nursing some heavy childhood trauma and abandonment issues, which if the conversation touches on Kylo can also vibe out.
2) Feel free to have Kylo pick up easily Geralt's true meaning behind the sometimes cryptic and always deadpan remarks he makes. Equally feel free to have Kylo notice his usually very outwardly subtle emotional reactions to things. Geralt experiences a lot of emotions; he's just very good at keeping himself tempered.
3) Regarding magical saturation, Geralt—unlike a typical mage or something—probably feels akin to a magical creation, as he was made by powerful magic but doesn't actually possess any real aptitude for harnessing extensive magical abilities. Canonically, Witchers kinda...hum a bit, to certain mages if they're sensitive enough.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Returning to adjust this for being free for all re: anything that's an emotional/instinctive internal reaction/response, for the sake of ease, since I'm actually terrible at narratively setting things without it being clunky and I want to make sure you have lots of room to pick and choose what's worthwhile for Kylo to vibe from him depending on how you feel.
For really particular specifics (like significant CR-changing information/secrets) I'll communicate with you directly if we want it to be known for heftier plot reasons.
And if there's anything you're unsure about or a piece you think would be interesting for him to notice that I didn't specify, I'm totally open to you just hitting me up to ask real quick, it's no bother.
ANYTHING ELSE: If Geralt is actively on defence or notices someone really creeping in, he can keep people out of his head, but it's a willpower thing, so generally in relaxed situations he's not going to be doing so.

PASSIVE AWARENESS: Martin's outwardly cheerful and polite persona is definitely genuine, but it's surface-level; underneath he's a complex well of anxiety, fear and high-key stress. Tends to think a lot about Jon Sims (positive) and Nero (negative).
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Has a passive, limited connection to the Entity of the Fear of Being Known, and a severed one to its most recent avatar Elias Bouchard. Nowhere near as active as with Jon, and perfectly human for it. Modest mental defences, but entirely mundane. Shockingly good at stubborning his way through manipulation attempts; no one man should have all that patience. A deeply traumatised individual, feel free to hit me up for specifics if you ever want to use them against him \o/
ANYTHING ELSE: Digging too deep into his connection to the Eye might activate it, but he'll still be markedly less powerful than Jon.
CHARACTER: Coraline Finch
PASSIVE AWARENESS: She's not human. While she doesn't make a secret of it at this point, if interrogated on it, she's constantly covered by an illusion that makes her look perfectly mundane and normal. The presence of the illusion at all is more likely to ping than her latent magic.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Straight up a fairy and will slap you for calling her as much. Lacking mental defences but possessing in extreme stubbornness and contrarianism to counteract it. Filled near to the brim with stolen emotional energy, however you want to read that as, and also anger in general: specifically in the veins of righteous outrage and general, simmering resentment.
ANYTHING ELSE: If Kylo was to make a statement of intent, such as a promise, even if he didn't mean it, Coraline would be able to magically bind him to his word which he would definitely be able to feel take place and very likely not be able to remove, since it's Fae magic.

PASSIVE AWARENESS: First of all, he might be able to sense that she is straight up dead. Not in Abraxas, of course, but in her home world. She was literally zapped to death by a ball of lightning. Speaking of her home world, she comes from a post-apocalyptic nightmare, where over 99% of human and animal life was lost to a global pandemic. She survived a deeply traumatizing period of solitude before diving headfirst into a world of hedonism, where she very much still is mentally, and used it to mask all the bullshit she'd gone through. Also she's kind of unstable and real deep into Flagg's cult.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: If she knows what he's doing, she would be offended but probably not strong enough to resist. But quite frankly, she is constantly having her mind monitored by Flagg, just like he monitors everyone in his inner circle, so she might not even notice.
ANYTHING ELSE: Just this.
no subject
PASSIVE AWARENESS: Nothing. As in, like, the only emotion Amos thinks he can still experience is anger, and everything else is just a front he puts up to try to fit in, usually poorly enough that any regular person capable of reading other people would notice there's something off about him. So in that way, Amos' nothingness would probably stand out — he'd come across as a shell of a person. Definitely just a regular person, but one who doesn't really feel anything. Could be mistaken for a sociopath. (To be clear, he isn't one, but if Kylo's able to passively perceive that emotionally Amos is kind of just a void, it wouldn't be that big of a leap.)
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Unfortunately, Amos actually does have emotions, he's just so cut off from them he doesn't recognize them. But if Kylo is actively looking at him, he'd be able to find them, buried deep beneath the surface: a loyalty (you could call it a love) for his people, constant self-hatred/doubt, a fear that he's a bad person and no matter what he does he'll end up hurting (the few) people he cares about. Everything written in non-dialogue parts of a tag is fair game.
ANYTHING ELSE: Amos' past/childhood is dicey as fuck and the one thing he would very much like to keep private/would attempt to resist if someone was telepathically trying to pry into it. I'm game for going there if it comes up, but there's a chance it might result in irreversibly negative cr.

PASSIVE AWARENESS: Brad's sincere in finding the dark side (metaphorically and literally, considering, you know, where Kylo comes from) appealing, but there's something just a little bit off about it. Like yeah, he's committed, but is he committed? It's not easily discernible, but Kylo would be able to pick up on... something. Is it run of the mill hesitation from someone from a world where firsthand experience with atrocities is not particularly common (i.e. ours) (and also likely to be his go-to excuse)? Is it doubt in himself to carry out whatever evil action is the topic, or doubt that he doesn't actually want to do it because it'll hurt people? Either way, there's something up there — something that'd be increasingly obvious the more ramped up the evil in question is — not that that's gonna stop Brad.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Vulnerability, baby. Maybe Brad's into the dark side because he knows exactly what it's like to come from a position of weakness and to be taken advantage of and he does not want to be there ever again. It comes with a side of desperation to avoid just that by any means necessary. He's not weak, nor is he a bully; we're talking about a very strong sense of self-preservation that's come about in a very misguided way. Everything written in non-dialogue parts of a tag is fair game.
ANYTHING ELSE: He might not really be into the whole active telepathy being used on him thing. But also, he might be curious about how it works and using it as a tool on other people? It's very interesting in theory, i.e. when he's not the target of it. So much potential.

PASSIVE AWARENESS: He is very, very old (multiple thousands of years), has absolutely immense reserves of magical energy/power, and is connected to a god-like entity back on his own world, though the connection is strained both by distance and his own death just prior to his arrival in Abraxas. His current body is also not his, but rather one he happens to be possessing - given that he is very strongly attuned to darkness, it might feel a little like what might happen if the Dark Side of the Force was possessing a person.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: So one of the side-effects of Emet being basically in thrall to a god-like entity is that he's basically immune to any other sorts of mind-control; while we don't see any mind reading in canon, between that and the fact that Emet is as powerful as he is, it's entirely possible that Kylo's attempts to get a sense for anything past surface thoughts might straight up not work.
ANYTHING ELSE: If Kylo can get past the "ancient and very very strongly dark-aligned" vibes, Emet is old, tired, and basically depressed - though he hides them well enough that they might only be noticeable when he's in a more melancholy mood.

PASSIVE AWARENESS: when it comes to passive things that kylo would be able to pick up on with sam, it has a lot to do with the genuine and honest nature he has about him. he's not lying, and while he does have trauma and terrible things that have happened in his past, he's not really putting on a mask when he talks to anyone. kylo probably gets very brief but intense feelings of responsibility, of a weight that sam carries (that he puts on himself), and an ongoing feeling that he has to help everyone, but especially those he feels need protecting (aka any and all of the summoned). kylo can also sense some "new" low-level magic in sam, aka his horizon powers, but very little else. he's not a magic boy.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: I am totally down for this but I feel like it would probably be situationally dependent!!! so we can chat about it, or I can also probably mention in-text if Kylo would be able to sense something if he was looking, etc. there isn't a HUGE difference when you get further down there compared to what's on the surface, for sam, other than that pervasive feeling that he's not good enough/doing enough/won't be able to perform if the situation calls for it, etc.
ANYTHING ELSE: sam is not going to have any concept of someone in his head or rooting around in there unless it's SUPER obvious. it's just not something he thinks about! so if kylo goes looking around, sam will think something is weird, but wouldn't pick up on telepathy at first. we can def play with this however we want, but just fyi in terms of forced stuff. I am totally down to work with it however we want, but sam would not react well finding out, unless kylo like - asked to see, etc.
i'm sorry for the length of this but also not. c:
PASSIVE AWARENESS: (see 'anything else' for more specifics, but these are things he probably picks up on during the time he's able to sense/see from her)
- power. magic. chaos. etc. she exudes the feeling of power in the same way a flame exudes heat. and especially knowing this court puts mages in high regard, she's not going to put any effort into hiding it. while she may not, entirely, be the most powerful thing/entity that kylo has come across, there is a kind of confidence wrapped up in it that makes yennefer appear and hold herself much, much bigger. and she wants much bigger.
- confidence, again, is something that he probably doesn't need to read her mind to see. but something he would be able to sense is that her confidence has not always been her foundational rock, and she has gone through hell and worked hard for it. she wears it because she earned it, she deserves to hold her head high, because she knows what it's like to be pushed into th dirt, etc.
- she is always working on multiple layers of existence, when she communicates with someone. whether it's kylo directly, any of the other summoned, or even the people of the court - while she may come across as pleasant or not, there are more often than not 8 other steps happening inside hr mind as to what she is doing, what she is trying to accomplish, etc. she does not want to be talking to most people who cross her path, but she will because she's putting on a good impression. she is playing a game of chess and knows everyone else around her (except for a select few) is playing checkers. kylo will probably be able to pick up on how bored she is, with the court members/lower level mages. he can also probably sense the deep, red-hot anger that spikes in her at off-handed remarks from time to time (girl gets quite furious from time to time).
- she does not like ambrose. again, he probably doesn't need his abilities to know this, but he can probably sense very specific, sometimes very intense dislike/disrespect/distrust feelings about him that she doesn't have towards just about anyone else. she is absolutely carrying a grudge that does not seem to temper down, even as time passes.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: (again, see below, but these are things that are open for what he could pick up on, if he does.) if kylo dug a little deeper, he'll probably pick up on just a couple of things that she is keeping a bit more under wraps. i, of course, can bring in more situational stuff for threads, but the big ones he'd be able to touch on before she closes off are:
- she is kind of wrapped up in this idea that the magic of the singularity can be siphoned off, absorbed, and held inside some of the summoneds. this idea feels new, like there is something recent that has sparked it, something that makes her think it can be possible. something that she is protective of, that is not accessible to her here.
- her time in the horizon for the first time was Not Good. less in terrible things happened to her kind of way, but more in the fact her lack of memories and understanding of herself really really shook her to her core, made her feel torn open and seen, vulnerable, and she despises that more than anything. she fights with this because she knows that the closest she can get to the singularity is through the horizon but she is hesitant to go back just yet. there is also a sense that she feels cut off from anyone who she knew before, a distance she wasn't planning on feeling, but then wrapped up in that an experience with being alone (she's done this before, she can do this again)
- also there is a feeling that while she may not be distinctly looking to try and get home, and that she cares more about the singularity/what is happening here, deep down she does think of home, of a wall of fire she left behind, and a woman who she seems particularly protective and fond of. a worry of that woman's safety, what happened to her, etc. it is not enough that she seems to want to jump home at the earliest chance, but some part of her is always thinking of her.
ANYTHING ELSE: if/when yennefer realizes that kylo can pick up on these things/has seen anything in her mind more specific than someone with a good intuition would have picked up on, she will close up. lock up. cut off. etc. she has psychic abilities of her own and her chaos has the ability to reach out and do similar things to other people/what kylo can do, so the second she realizes he has those abilities, she will close herself right off to him entirely. she doesn't want people in her head, and while even when she doesn't know he's in there, he can probably sense there are things/secrets that she's got protected that she is not letting anyone see ever. and then, after she finds out/realizes he has psychic abilities of his own, that is probably all he will sense - like a door closing, cold and made of iron.
and/or (situationally dependent) he will be able to sense that anything/everything kylo can pick up on is because yennefer is allowing it to be picked up on/chose it for him to see. we love some silent psychic communication in this house. and she would be very much into it. (tbh she'd probably find it attractive but. waves hand.)
as for forced intrusion, I am very very curious how a battle of the minds like this would go, but we can discuss if/when this happens. c:

PASSIVE AWARENESS: Old... old as balls. Extremely secretive in general; there's a sense of strategy to it. Lies as easily as breathing. There's a whiff of loneliness about him. When Alina Starkov is present, or mentioned, or he happens to think of her apropos of nothing, he definitely feels a way about it.
Metaphysic-wise, I'll just steal my own info page text: At a glance: a void. A blank spot on the vision. Look long enough, and it's like seeing a small crack in the earth and realizing it leads to a huge cavern underneath the ground you're standing on, and maybe it's not just a cavern, maybe it goes on forever. In that deep place is the sense of limitless potential wreathed in unfeeling, indiscriminate hunger—a nothing that craves becoming.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Mention Kylo's looking, and I'll make sure to reveal.
ANYTHING ELSE: In addition to power amplification, physical contact might come with a two-way empathic link. It wasn't explicitly mentioned in the show, but it wasn't explicitly discarded either, so..... I want it. So that could be a thing. Also, Alina's begun visiting him through an inexplicable psychic connection courtesy of Horizon, so that'll be weirdly relatable.

PASSIVE AWARENESS:
-Sasarai is older than he looks but not to the point that his age would read as inhuman.
-A great deal of magic surges around him
-He is secretive about his true emotions and tries to cover this with sarcasm.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Kylo would pick up on his existential anxiety that is always there. If you ever want Kylo to see more than that feel free to poke me about it.
ANYTHING ELSE: Sasarai carries the True Earth Rune which is basically the god of earth from his world. It is sentient and intelligent but in a way that has nothing to do with humans. If Kylo tries to force his way into Sasarai's thoughts he might find the True Earth Rune throwing him back out. He is free to realize Sasarai's mental defenses come from a power within him, not from Sasarai himself.

PASSIVE AWARENESS: His spirit seems much, much older than the 30-40 years old he seems to be. There's a watchful, curious sense about him.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: He is definitely much older than he looks. The more Kylo looks at him the stronger the sense will be that Elias is looking back, with extreme curiosity. His emotions rarely match the placid facade he puts on.
ANYTHING ELSE: Elias will allow some inspection, so long as he doesn't feel Kylo is pushing into anything that doesn't concern him. He'll initially play ignorant of his awareness of Kylo, but if it'll serve him then he'll reveal he has some of his own abilities. He will definitely encourage Kylo to break boundaries in order to get information from people. Doing terrible things for the sake of knowledge is Elias' bread and butter.

PASSIVE AWARENESS:
—Stephen is basically a fount of potent magical energy. It’s very juxtaposed to the fact that he doesn’t “feel” any older than he appears; just a basic human man with basic human physiology, with a lot of magic stuffed into his frame. If Kylo squints hard enough, there’s the sense of someone who’s brushed up against the vastness of the multiverse — though no doubt that’s a mostly ambiguous read.
—Very easy to sense a spark of curiosity; just as easy to sense his stubbornness when it flares up.
—A mind always thinking, always churning with possibilities. Always “recording” due to a photographic memory.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION:
—Kylo is very welcome to read what’s in the metatext of all of Stephen’s tags, if so inclined!
—Though if he senses this happening, he’s definitely going to call it out. Actual pushback will be dependent on context.
ANYTHING ELSE: Generally, Stephen just reads as someone who has been through A Lot—countless deaths, pure non-existence for 5 years, experiencing millions of future outcomes, manipulating time—without much reason to keep it too heavily under lock and key. He’s like… an onion… that if you peel back the layers, there’s a bunch of trippy colorful shit underneath. Or something.

PASSIVE AWARENESS: Rhy is straight-up dead, dawg. He's been brought to life before, but not in the same way as other characters who arrived dead have been; he was brought back to life before Abraxas, and his life force is clearly tethered to the Singularity now. Other easy to glean info he probably won't even need mind reading for: Rhy is the crown prince of a country named Arnes; he has an adopted brother named Kell whom he misses pretty much constantly (and is very afraid has died); he puts on a smile for show but he's super fucking depressed and anxious about literally everything going on in this wacky new world, someone get this man therapy.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: I'm cool with Kylo picking up on stuff in the metatext! If you're ever unsure, feel free to ping me. Rhy's often putting on a persona, so it should be interesting.
ANYTHING ELSE: With some digging, Kylo might be able to figure out that Rhy's life force used to be tethered to someone else, someone from his world (Kell, it's Kell). He's got a soul seal carved into his chest that binds his soul to Kell's, which was transferred to the Singularity to keep it active. So he's basically soulbonded to the Singularity, I guess. idk what we can do with this outcome, but I feel like it's gotta be something, right. I'll update this post as needed, if anything changes down the line!

PASSIVE AWARENESS: There's a bunch here Kylo could pick up on!
- Cas isn't a spirit transformed into a human body, it's more like he wears his vessel like a costume that only really fits on one hand. So, hand puppet, his physical body is a hand puppet. Or, a Chrysler building sized light-creature with too many heads compacted down into a people suit?? Kylo would likely be able to see/sense that, but I'll leave it up to you how much. If it's sight-based, looking at his true form burns humans'/demons' eyes out in canon, but I'd expect the Force gives Kylo some superhuman endurance for that. He describes himself as a "multidimensional wavelength of celestial intent", and SPN angels are supposed to be just a whole fuckton of lightwaves and energy. the dude who was originally Cas's vessel said it was "like being chained to a comet". So, looking with actual eyes, it'll be searing kinds of bright and big. If it's just a vague energy-sensing thing, he'll probably feel like a big ol' noisy reactor of light and energy and holy eldritch horror going on way too close. It wouldn't be surprising if Kylo sensed him before seeing him. If you want more specific details, lmk.
- He doesn't really hide much, it's what makes him so fucking awkward. If asked, he'll straight up tell people "I'm an Angel of the Lord". There's a big pit of guilt and pain from some genocide that resulted from a chain of No Good Very Bad choices he made recently. Also, a gross ball of Profound Feelings for Dean Winchester, but that's not something he's recognized as love yet (but that's what it is, just takes him a bunch of seasons to figure it out).
- Despite being a divine disco ball, Cas's nature is not all sunshine and virtue and God's Love - the virtue part doesn't even really kick into high gear until he starts interacting with the Winchesters regularly. For the first 99% of his life, he was the staple Old Testament avenging angel, bringing down wrath and plagues and killing firstborn sons; above all else he considers himself a soldier. It isn't something he shies from or feels guilt for now either - it was the Will of God, and he was doing what he was created to do. There's no personal feelings of satisfaction or enjoyment around it, just function and efficiency. He doesn't have qualms about tossing humans around like ragdolls or pulling out intimidation if he thinks it's necessary (parameters of 'necessary' debatable).
- I was trying to find a clip of this time Cas meets a mind reader/medium dude in canon but IT IS NOWHERE, so I'mma just give you the transcript, and do with it whatever seems right for Kylo:
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Cas will most likely be aware if someone tries poking into his head, and it's probably not going to be a pleasant trip.
- His mind isn't linear like a human mind, there's a whole bunch overlapping and things going on at once, his perception of reality is layered, he sees people as souls more than physical beings, and his senses aren't limited to the normal human spectrum, though those ones are blasting at full volume 24/7 (dude tastes molecules and sees individual particles). There's also billions of years of memory, most of it from an abstract, disembodied point of view on a whole different dimensional plane, dealing with events and experiences that wouldn't make sense to someone used to a 3-dimensional reality. There were pockets of time spent on Earth, some holy wars, watching Neanderthals write poetry, or chilling at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, and of course the last 5ish years he spent most of his time in a human vessel, on Earth with the Winchesters, so that should look more normal and readily comprehensible.
- An angel's true voice at a whisper in canon does this shit, so making sense of what Kylo's hearing re: thoughts could be complicated, or painful, depending on how you want to go at it. It'll probably be more vague feelings than concrete words. If Kylo's actively trying to read him, I'll put some description into the small text for what Cas's thoughts/feelings might translate to. Colors? Colors is a possibility.
- He's seen Hell and Purgatory and Heaven close up, also the Tower of Babel and the first human land-fish, so all that stuff's shoved in there somewhere if Kylo manages to dig for it.
- Depending on how it goes, Cas might immediately go to shoving Kylo out of his head, or pull all the Hell and torture bits up until he vacates, oooor just let him poke around and see if it drives him bonkers?? Idk, it'll be fun
ANYTHING ELSE:
- Is it cool if Cas senses the Force from Kylo? If so, do you want it to be a vague sense of power, or pick up on the dark element of it? He doesn't do passive awareness for thoughts/emotions, dude most often turns that off in canon (it's rude!!) and I nerfed it to consent only in Abraxas. Likewise with active examination - he's not going to push into anyone's mind without being invited.
- He has the same forced mental intrusion ability in canon. I nerfed it in Abraxas to be a consent-based thing, since that's usually the ethics he follows with it (hahaha usually), but I'm thinking if Kylo opens that door and waltz into his head, Cas probably has the ability to shove him back out, just not follow back through to Kylo's mind. IDK, if you want to play with that and have them do some mental slap-fighting, but I'm down. Totally cracking angel brains usually requires some torture device looking head gear and long metal spikes (very gross, but I'm not adverse to that being figured out at some point down the line).
- Wings! Angel wings show up as shadowed silhouettes when angels do their Glowing With Holy Light thing. The wings are supposedly always there, but human "senses are too dull to perceive them". I'd be cool with that not being the case for Kylo, if he wants to spot some wings. The shadows look about like this or this might be a better view.

PASSIVE AWARENESS:
Lucifer would typically be a white noise to people. Which is to say he's almost always hiding something, whether it be Actual Opinions about people or simply mentally twiddling his thumbs. There's always a blanket over his thoughts. This doesn't go away. But! Lucifer can't hide anger and if ever that's in full blown, it will spike through his thoughts and might even be detectable by Kylo from a distance because of the shock of it.
Though he's a fallen angel he's still a being of Light. A great ol' holy beacon. *gestures a bit at Castiel* Rowena and Sam Winchester spoke about how Lucifer's "true face" was something to be scared of/kept them up at night. But canonically the audience never saw it. So \o_O/ It was probably some Eldritch-Biblical BS.
Kylo would have to push into Lucifer's head in order to get anything.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION:
He's weakened so he might not right away pick up on someone poking around if it's subtle enough. There's a dimness to Lucifer's mind, like some of the lights had burned out. Underneath that thin layer is just an inferno of rage, simmering but ready to erupt at any point.
He'd definitely notice if Kylo got to that.
And he would not take it well once he realized and is more likely to draw Kylo in than he is to throw him out; similarly to Castiel
which is really funny honestlyhe'd heave all of his memories of Hell at Kylo and make him regret ever coming in.But if they were to duke it out mentally, Lucifer would likely lose, exhausting too quickly. If being questioned with words or otherwise, Lucifer's "answers" would be images.
He's still Not Happy about the last person that was in his head.
ANYTHING ELSE:
Lucifer's wingspan. Also cool with if Kylo wants to be capable of seeing them.
Other angels referred to him as "stinking of Hell" (so likely sulfur)... idk do with that as you will.

PASSIVE AWARENESS: Cal is a Force user with a recently healed connection that had been severed thanks to severe trauma (lol order 66), and while he's embracing the Force now he still feels the need to hide his jedi origins, and still feels constant anxiety now that he's alone again, alongside a nervous energy that gets worse the longer he feels like he's not actively doing anything. He has also suffered a lot of loss, particularly sacrifices made for his survival, which is a huge sore spot for him.
ACTIVE EXAMINATION: Typically whatever I put in meta text is fair game!
ANYTHING ELSE: If Cal ever got the sense someone was messing around in his head he will attempt to push back, but honestly...he's probably not strong enough to lol, but something to keep in mind.
